August's Story... Hi! My name is August. I am a snuggly lap dog kind of guy, and I am just looking for my furever home! I was living in a home with 140 other dogs, and my owner had to turn me into animal control because things got out of hand I am about 2 years old, weigh about 9 pounds, and I love dogs, cats and kids. I am neutered, microchipped, heartworm negative, dewormed, current with all vaccines and on flea and heartworm prevention. The vet has checked me out and given me a clean bill of health! I am all ready to be adopted I am currently being fostered in South Carolina, but I can catch a ride up north to meet my new family.

Pomeranian Dogs can make good pets in Connecticut if they match your IifestyIe. The Pomeranian is a poufy, fox-like toy breed. Pomeranians are vivacious and intelligent. This breed may become skittish around very young, rambunctious kids. Pomeranians need consistent, thorough obedience training. Pomeranians do fine living in an apartment if they get enough exercise.
