Rescue Me ID: 14-12-09-00859Smokey Joe (male)
Smokey is an AKC Registered 9 year old Pomeranian whose favorite human (my dad) has passed from this life. He is lively, lovable, and in great health. Mom is not able to care for him, and we want to make sure he goes to a great home. The one thing you should know is that while he is crate trained, he is not housebroken. This dog was originally purchased as a puppy at the request of a terminally ill family member. Time passed and the housebreaking process just never happened. This little bundle of love is a perfect dog for some lucky family.

Animal ID: 2Frosty (female)
Frosty is one of only 2 females in a litter. Mother was a hound/retriever mix and suspected father was pomeranian mix. She is very high energy and will let you know when something is out of place. The only way to get a photo was to wait until she was getting ready to nap! It looks like she will take after her mother with short hair but seems to be staying on the smaller size. She is 20 weeks old (born July 27th. )She is also a climber so needs a home that is very secure.

Rescue Me ID: 14-12-04-00180Big Boy (male)
Mixed breed puppy. Mother was hound/retriever mix suspected father was small breed dog, possibly a pomeranian cross. Very friendly and good with other animals. Would make a great pet for a child. Named Big Boy as he was the largest in the litter. Update- 20 weeks old today (Dec.15th) and developing a more dominate personality. Though he gets along with the other pups and my cats he really is an attention hog. He would probably be best in a household with few if any other animals where he can get all of the attention he craves. He visited the goats in the pasture with me today (not a success) cats, dogs OK... goats are a different story. NOT a farm dog! At 20 weeks he has all the markings of his father and his fur is getting longer but he has already surpassed father in size. FYI mother was 55-60 pounds. (Less)

Pomeranian Dogs can make good pets in Georgia if they match your IifestyIe. The Pomeranian is a poufy, fox-like toy breed. Pomeranians are vivacious and intelligent. This breed may become skittish around very young, rambunctious kids. Pomeranians need consistent, thorough obedience training. Pomeranians do fine living in an apartment if they get enough exercise.
