Hi there! I am a happy boy but my owner has been diagnosed with cancer and life is growing more difficult for him. I am nervous at first when I don't know you but give me a few minutes and I'll become a lap dog. I give lots of kisses. I also love my crate but we leave the door open. I can make you happy.

Rescue Me ID: 17-06-21-00611Sasha (female)
This goofy looking little girl is Sasha and she is as sweet as sugar! Sasha is a one to two year old Chihuahua/Pomeranian mix. Sasha's foster mom says that she is crate and house trained. She lives with a bunch of other pups and gets along with them just great! She also lives in a home with kids and adores them as well. Sasha loves to run and play but if the play gets too rough, that makes her a little frightened. Sasha's adoption fee is $175. This includes her deworming, dhpp and rabies vaccines, heartworm test and preventive, flea and tick preventive, spay, and microchip. If you are interested in making Sasha a part of your family, please send us an email at firstname.lastname@example.org (Less)

Rescue Me ID: 17-04-13-00076Koko (male)
[Read About Natural Incontinence Care] Koko is 16 years old and very sweet. He desperately wants to be near a human at all times. He is afraid of small children but is not annoyed unless he is cornered. He has trouble holding his BMs and must be taken out very frequently during the day (like every 2 hours). He is in good health. He can still run and play and climb the stairs. He has no known major illnesses other than being deaf and his teeth are starting to loosen. I love him but my job keeps me away for 10-12 hours a day so even hiring a dog walker was not enough for his needs. We were taking him out 5 times a day between the two of us and he was still having accidents. I don't want to put him down, but him living in a pen or crate all of the time and laying in his own urine is very unfair to his quality of life. I have no idea how much longer he will live but he is sweet and deserves much more attention than I can give him at this point in his life. I really do not want to put him down!! I've been struggling with this situation for over a year and have tried everything. Someone who is a stay at home or retired and can make him their priority would be perfect. We need help! (Less)

Rescue Me ID: 17-04-02-00408Bo-Bo (male)
Bo-Bo was my mother in law's best friend and faithful companion. Sadly, she suddenly passed away at the end of March. A family friend graciously offered to take him in. But,she also has 3 other dogs and 2 cats too, and it's getting to be a little too much for her. Bo-Bo is ever loving, sweet and loves to be rubbed. He's good with older children...like 5 and up. Her two sons cannot take him, one's a firefighter who works so crazy hours, gone 24 at a time, and the other works about 18 hours a day and it's not fair for Bo-Bo to be couped up for that long period of time, alone. He loves to give lots of puppy kisses and tons of lap love. I'd be forever grateful that he will go to a home that can give him the proper attention and spoiling that he deserves. We live up in barrow county. (Less)

Pomeranian Dogs can make good pets in Georgia if they match your IifestyIe. The Pomeranian is a poufy, fox-like toy breed. Pomeranians are vivacious and intelligent. This breed may become skittish around very young, rambunctious kids. Pomeranians need consistent, thorough obedience training. Pomeranians do fine living in an apartment if they get enough exercise.
