Ok, so you really, really want a little tiny cutsie dog in your life, and why not, this little guy is sooooooo PRECIOUS!!! But-please read all of this BEFORE you respond. Monkey also has Mega-esophogus. Which, for us non medical people, the esophagus is the 'pipe' that connects to our stomach. It has muscles that help us swallow. Monkey has a larger pipe and it does not have the muscle strength to help him swallow like other dogs. So, he eats a soft food, not kibble and no chunks. He is fine drinking water, he is a bit sloppy but that is OK, he is so tiny! We put him in a crate for his meals because he is a messy little guy. Wipe off his ... (Read More)little mushy face and he is good to go again!! It can progress, we just never know, so please google and talk to you vet if interested. Monkey is happy, bouncy, lovable, could even be a therapy dog he is so sweet! Also, he cannot go out in extreme weather due to his condition, no wind and extreme cold. Monkey is the sweetest little doll, his former Mama did not want to give him up but she was taking chemo and it broke her heart to let him go. We are hoping for a very special family for our little Monkey!! (Less)
