Animal ID: 2877Millie (female)

Pomeranian Mix    Age: Young Adult

Compatibility: Good w/ Most Dogs, Good w/ Most Cats, Good w/ Kids and Adults
Personality: Average Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Spayed, Vaccinations Current

Say 'hi' to Millie. She is a lovely golden Pomeranian/Spaniel mix with expressive brown eyes who is just about 4 years old, with a birthday of 2-2-11. Currently at a little over 30 pounds, Millie is a bit heavy for her frame. Her foster family is providing her with a healthy diet and a good deal of exercise to get her in shape. She spends a good part of her day playing with the family dog, keeping the both of them occupied and her foster family thoroughly entertained. Millie is a sweetie and will charm you with her teddy bear face. But don't let that fool you. She is a curious dog with a playful spirit. Millie enjoys exploring as ... (Read More)much as cuddling and always seems to be in a good mood. With some training she might make a good therapy dog. Millie has a beautiful coat. It requires brushing once or twice a week to keep her downy undercoat from matting. She loves to be brushed with a natural bristle brush and it keeps her coat shiny too. Occasional visits to the groomer will keep her coat trimmed in a way that will make home maintenance easier. Chances are she's gotten by on her good looks and demeanor. While Millie is housebroken, she seems a little rusty on basic commands. Her foster family is working on that as well. She gets better every day. Obedience training is suggested. Millie would love a home where she is well cared for and gets moderate exercise daily. Remember, a tired dog is a happy dog. She would probably do well with children and other pets, as well as active seniors. What she wants most of all is your companionship. She has a lot of love to give. (Less)

Pomeranian    Age: Senior

Compatibility: Good w/ Most Dogs, Good w/ Most Cats, Good w/ Kids and Adults
Personality: Average Energy, Submissive
Health: Neutered, Vaccinations Current

Shorty is a 14 year young Black and Tan Pomeranian. He weighs in at 7lbs but his coat makes him appear twice that size in person. He is extremely sweet and friendly. He walks well on leash, and is 100% housebroken. He is a spry little one and shows no sign of his age in his mannerisms. Shorty is amazing with all the dogs that he has met and has ignored the cats that he encountered at the vets office. He is gentle with children and will allow you to pick him up.. Shorty walks well on leash, knows sit, lie down and comes on command. Please remember we can not adopt out of state because a home visit is a requirement. We require an at home ... We ask that you please call and inquire whether we are able to travel to your area.
