|Rescue Me ID: 13-11-06-00140Raggs (male)|
Raggs is a sweet little boy that came from a puppy mill situation when he was 8 months old. He is now about 1 year. Up to date on shots, and neutered. He loves, loves,to run,and play with toys in the yard.He needs a playmate about his size to play with. Also will need a fenced yard, and I insist on that. Raggs has come a long way from when I first got him,but does have some training to go..so if you think you are going to adopt him,and have the perfect well mannered dog..you need to re think. He is a real joy, very gentle, and loves attention, can jump 4 foot in the air,but needs to learn some things too. Doggie classes would be advised. That would make a big, big, diffrence for him. He is not leash trained, and never been in a crate. Here is the reason he was given up..You see the pretty white strip down his head..well,on each side of that, the hair is very short, also on the backs of his ears, and on the middle of his body. It is so much better than it was,but is still short, and it will stay short. It seems to be genetic. Bioten helps. I hope I have not made him sound so bad,I just want the facts out there. Actually,he is a sweetheart that any real dog lover would love..he just needs lots of patience, and love to be the best he can be,and his young age is on his side. I love this little guy a lot,and want a good forever home for him. He is not a lost cause..he only wants to be loved just like all the other little doggies! FYI: THE LITTLE DOGGIE IN THE PICTURE BEHIND HIM HAS BEEN ADOPTED. (Less)

|Rescue Me ID: 13-10-10-00110Bubbie (male)|
This little guy is Bubbie. He knows his name very well, and minds MOST of the time. Weighs about 9 lbs.Potties outside, and sleeps on a nice little doggie mat in my room..sometimes on the bed. Sleeps good all night. Afraid of storms and 4th of July. Just console him,hug him,and tell him its ok.After a bit,he is ok. Super sweet dog,not needy, and likes to be in the yard.Likes to play fetch too. I love Bubbie with all my heart, but he is jealous of my little rescue Chihuahua, and a deaf, and blind dog that I have, and he intimidates them. He has never bit them,or hurt them, but growls, and scares them. He is super gentle with people. Not a good match for small children either. He just really should be an only dog,or will work with one female about his size. Has never been on a leash, and if you want to train him for that, please use a harness. Leashes on Poms are the main cause of damaged trachea. His food is his food, his water is his water, and his toys are his toys.He can get quite possessive of those things. not toward people, but is of other dogs.Super gentle with people.Even if he is growling at one of the other dogs for trying to get his food,I can pick him up,and tell him he is a naughty boy,and he never tries to bite..ever. He has not been around many children, and will not work with very small kids..older ones will work if they are not too rowdy. Prefer adults only for him. He MUST have a fenced yard. He will be high maintenance as far as his coat..he has a very thick, and beautiful coat.Lots of brushing at least once a week. Neutered,up to date on shots, teeth cleaned, and a couple pulled. He is on a regular worming schedule. Has always been fed Science Diet small bite food. I care where Bubbie goes,so don't be surprised when I ask questions, and welcome yours. I absolutely will not ship Bubbie. It would be way to traumatic for him. You must pick up. So sorry to be so picky with Bub,but he has my heart, and I want him to be happy, and not scared ever.If you think you meet the criteria for a home for him, please do call,or email. (Less)

Pomeranian Dogs can make good pets in Kansas if they match your IifestyIe. The Pomeranian is a poufy, fox-like toy breed. Pomeranians are vivacious and intelligent. This breed may become skittish around very young, rambunctious kids. Pomeranians need consistent, thorough obedience training. Pomeranians do fine living in an apartment if they get enough exercise.
