Owner very ill; need home or foster quickly! Sassy's 11 pounds, partly trained, eager to please. Loves people; not human-dominant but might not be good w. very young kids. Known to be fine with kids ab. 8 & over. Loves to play, & also to just hang out w. family. Would do best in a family where someone's usually home. Has had some teeth extracted but in good dental condition & eats dry food. Does well with a few dogs, but is dog-dominant. Pomeranian    Age: Adult

Compatibility: Good w/ Most Dogs, Good w/ Most Cats, Good w/ Kids and Adults
Personality: Average Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Spayed

In June I adopted a six year old (you would never know it) Pomeranian from a groomer who took her to work with her everyday etc.. She is amazingly funny and affectionate, she loves to play dress-up, go in the car, and she is great with other animals. However, when the kids went back to school and I went back to work she became very depressed. She does not like to be left behind and it breaks my heart to see her like this. She needs to be in a home where somebody either works from home, is a stay at home parent, or where she can go to work with you. I realize that is a pretty specific home and I am willing to wait until one comes along. She ... (Read More)is crate trained and housebroken, keep in mind she is tiny so she can't hold it all day like a big dog. I can say in all honesty I've never seen such a sweet well mannered dog, rehoming her is not going over well in this house, but we all agreed it is what's best for her. Her rehoming fee is $100 to ensure whoever adopts her has a vested interest. I am also requesting that whoever adopts her signs an agreement stating they will bring her back if it isn't a good fit. This sweet girl deserves better than to be bounced around from family to family. I have tried to contact her original owner with no luck, which leaves me here. (Less)

Rescue Me ID: 14-09-08-00130Mary Anne (female)

Pomeranian    Age: Senior

Compatibility: Good w/ Most Dogs, Good w/ Most Cats, Good w/ Kids and Adults
Personality: Average Energy, Very Submissive
Health: Spayed, Vaccinations Current

Mary Anne is a larger size Pom at 18 lbs and is 10 years old. She is the sweetest dog ever! She gets along great with other dogs, ignores cats. She doesn't seem to mind kids at all although at her age could tire of them so maybe in smaller doses (grandkids?). She is housebroken and just wants to be petted. She is spayed, up to date on shots and micro-chipped. I can't really find anything bad about this dog and I am not sure at all how she ended up in rescue but here she is.... I want to find this sweet girl a great retirement home so if you think you can provide that home please contact me. Barb Gregson @
