|Animal ID: CocoCoco (male)|
Coco is a precious tiny yorkie Pomeranian mix whose lifetime owner moved away and left him behind!!! He is 10 years young and weighs 5.5 pounds. This little man fell off a piece of furniture as a puppy, broke a leg and the owner never got it fixed so he does have a mild handicap which doesn't slow him down for a minute!!! His breed mix are both long lived breeds and we hope that Coco will have another great five years with his new human. Coco's favorite spot to be is right in your lap where you can dote on him all day! He's always been an only dog and is fearful of the other two dogs in his foster home who are 12 and 22 pounds. He would probably be fine with cats but would do best as an only dog. This little fellow is usually quiet but when his school aged caretaker leaves for school he cries and cries! Because Coco does bark when everyone leaves, he will not do well in an apartment or condo, and he does love to be in the yard when his foster family is out there. Coco is PERFECTLY house trained and he doesn't need to be crated at all. His adoption fee is $250 to cover his updated veterinary care including a full dental which left him toothless. He is heartworm negative and on prevention, shots are current, he was previously neutered and he has a HomeAgain microchip. (Less)

|Rescue Me ID: 14-09-16-00523oliver (male)|
Oliver is a luv. He is a great family dog. All he wants is to be in your lap and lick your chin. He gets along well with other dogs/puppies and cats/kittens. He is wonderful pet with one little problem, he marks in the house. I have an intact female dog that is why I believe he marks. I was planning on breeding him due to his rare color so I didnt get him fixed as a puppy. I tried everything my vet suggested to get him to stop marking with no luck so I had him fixed. still no luck. I am hoping that by giving him to a home with no other animals, this will finally stop the behavior. For the summer the dogs have been outside, but with winter coming he really needs a home where he can be indoors most of the time. (Less)

Pomeranian Dogs can make good pets in Minnesota if they match your IifestyIe. The Pomeranian is a poufy, fox-like toy breed. Pomeranians are vivacious and intelligent. This breed may become skittish around very young, rambunctious kids. Pomeranians need consistent, thorough obedience training. Pomeranians do fine living in an apartment if they get enough exercise.
