|Animal ID: 13-12-03-00449'Ruby' (female)|
'Ruby' is a black Pomeranian that is in foster care for the Salem County Humane Society in Carney's Point, NJ. As most Pomeranians, she is bouncy, bold and busy, always ready for adventure. Once she bonds with you, she is a great companion that listens well and tries her best to please. Ruby was surrendered to the shelter by her owners. She weighs 13 lbs., which is a good size and is 2 years 4 months old. Her black, shiny hair is beautiful and will require grooming on a regular schedule. Please call the shelter to set up an appointment to meet her.

|Animal ID: 13-3062BATMAN (male)|
Batman was surrendered by his owner due to a move. His temperament is questionable at times. He really takes some time to warm up to you. There is definite possession and food aggression and he will charge you when you approach his kennel. It took me over a week to get him used to me but I do not push him in any way. He will seek attention when he warms up to you and he loves to go for walks. He has had a few visits with other dogs and he has backed off if they snap at him. The dominance is more with people. I am looking to get him into a home with someone that has experience with dominant dogs or a Pomeranian rescue.

Heartbroken to give her up but she is not adjusting to the new baby in our home and has snapped at him more than once, the baby is 6 months old and starting to move more. Not willing to take a chance on her biting him. Very sweet and loving lap dog with adults but very nervous. Needs a quieter, calmer environment. Her Birthday is March 3, 2005. She is 8 1/2 years old and weighs just over 6lbs. on her last check up in June. Spayed, all shots up to date, housebroken and crate trained.

Albert is a very energetic and playful dog. He is a toy pomeranian, about 7lbs, and is white and orange in color. He is not house broken and likes to mark. He barks when people come into the house or leave because he has seperation anxiety. He is very lovable and needs someone who can handle all his energy!

Pomeranian Dogs can make good pets in New Jersey if they match your IifestyIe. The Pomeranian is a poufy, fox-like toy breed. Pomeranians are vivacious and intelligent. This breed may become skittish around very young, rambunctious kids. Pomeranians need consistent, thorough obedience training. Pomeranians do fine living in an apartment if they get enough exercise.
