Please read the entire bio before contacting us with questions. Send us an email requesting an application to start the adoption process-- AND Visit our main website Follow us on Facebook Facebook page Approximate DOB 02/01/2013 Size - About 15 lbs History- This sweet, loving little guy found himself in a bad situation. He was a stray picked up by a local shelter. They found he was a bit quirky though. When you reached forward and over him to pick him up he turned into a snapping turtle- he was so scared he would just ... (Read More)start biting to try and protect himself. So we worked with him on the issue. We believe something bad must have happened at some point in his life to make him feel so worried he must defend himself like that. So what we have done is taught him 'up' so he can prepare himself and just really worked with him making him feel safe in our arms. He is now ready to start looking for his happily ever after. Temperament- Very sweet and loving once he trusts someone.. Energy Level- Very mellow- would do great though with short walks and short bursts of playtime. Dogs/Cats- Gets along with other dogs and cats. Housetrained- Yes house and crate trained This beautiful boy will make a wonderful companion for anyone wanting a sweet, loving boy that can get off and on the couch on his own and doesn't want to be carried around. He is very loving though and will hop onto the couch with his loved one and ask for love and attention- he just doesn't want to be carried.. Adoption fee $150 includes spay/neuter, age appropriate vaccinations (4 for puppies), deworming, microchip, rabies vacc, collar and tags, training information, and all the support you need.
