Pomeranian Mix    Age: Adult

Health: Vaccinations Current

Meet Quiche... Sweet, HAPPY, obedient, eager to please. Quiche is just a delight. Quiche's personality and temperament are outrageously wonderful. 10 pounds of sweet love and merriment! He is incredibly easy and low maintenance. SO happy for any attention or love, yet not demanding in asking for it. He is not a digger, not a chewer, not a barker, no indoor marking (an outdoor walk is quite another story). POLITE AND WELCOMING OF VISITORS. Quiche is very very good company. Quiche is crate trained and completely housebroken. He is very respectful of my own dogs. I cannot say enough about him. He is simply joyful to be around. Quiche is ... (Read More)new to our rescue and he is 'a diamond in the rough'.... he arrived severely matted and a bit overfed. He was treated to a spa day, but unfortunately they could not save his fur, Quiche had to be shaved. Quiche LOVES to walk and is great on a leash, quite speedy for a little one! And always excited for the walk. He will be back to his fit weight in no time. Quiche has been vetted and brought up to date on vaccinations. He is 8 years old. Weighs 10 pounds. Quiche is in west sayville and eager to meet you! He does take a bit of time to warm up to new people. An application and home visit are required for placement of any of our pups. ALL EXPENSES ARE PAID FOR FOSTER. You provide the love. Quiche's adoption fee is $350. (Less)

Rescue Me ID: 17-03-20-00063Ziggy (male)

Pomeranian Mix    Age: Adult

Compatibility: Good w/ Most Dogs, Good w/ Most Cats, Good w/ Adults (Not Kids)
Personality: Average Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Neutered, Vaccinations Current

Those Life Changes Got In The Way! Ziggy was born about August 27, 2008 and weighs about 9 lbs. He is with us because the young lady that raised him took him through all her life changes...until now. She moved into an apartment that doesn't allow dogs. Off Craig's list he came and into the safety of Joyful Rescues - he's a lucky boy! Ziggy isn't perfect and can be a bit protective, your typical small breed/terrier kind of trait. He is good with kids 10 and above and great with other dogs. He's actually been extremely good here with all of us and found the dog door easily watching everyone else even though he's much smaller than most. ... (Read More)Ziggy is house trained, good on leash and fine in the car. We here he has some wanderlust so a fenced yard or a leash at all times will be necessary. Even though fine with other dogs we are told he would do better as an only dog as he adores one on one attention and is a major snuggler! Even though they said house trained we just like to warn that sometimes these little dogs benefit from a potty floor pad when they just can't hold it any longer. (Less)

Animal ID: 4905322ESimba(M) Belle(F) (male)

Pomeranian    Age: Young Adult

Personality: Average Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Needs to be Neutered

We have two dogs, both Pomeranians. Both have been Registered. Simba ia 5 and Belle is 3 years old. They have been together since Belle came here. We would like to keep them together, if possible. They love each other and are very playful together. Simba is not fixed, is active and at times, gets a little aggressive around small children and some adults. He wears a Male Pad when indoors. Simba may need some shots. Belle is a little less active, she is fixed and basically goes on the pad. She is up to date with her shots. They are both great watchdogs! They would be better suited in a quiet house. The reason why is because we are a ... (Read More)family of 6 with a lot of things going on. They need someone who can spend a lot of quality time caring for them. (Less)
