Rescue Me ID: 16-10-25-00437Vulpix (male)

Pomeranian Mix    Age: Adult

Compatibility: Not Good with Other Dogs, Good with Adults (Not Kids)
Personality: Average Energy
Health: Neutered, Vaccinations Current

AGE: 5 years old SEX: Neutered BREED: Pomeranian mix WEIGHT: 7 lbs. SOURCE: Transferred from Brooklyn Animal Control DOG FRIENDLY: PENDING EVALUATION CAT FRIENDLY: PENDING EVALUATION AGES: 18+ Say hi to Vulpix! One part fluff and two parts personality have combined to make one cute dog! Vulpix is one of the newer additions to our shelter, and has quickly left his mark on the staff. He loves getting out on walks with his people, and has become the unofficial star of many of our Adopt-A-Dog social media posts! Vulpix was originally an owner surrender who ended up at Brooklyn Animal Control before we brought him to our shelter. Due to what ... (Read More)we know about him before becoming a shelter resident, we believe an adult-only home without other pets would be ideal for Vulpix. He does take a little longer to warm up, but with patience (and lots of treats!) he makes you part of his circle. If there's a place in your home for this tiny ball of fluff, fill out an application below! (Less)

Rescue Me ID: 16-10-10-00053Baby Girl (female)

Pomeranian Mix    Age: Young Adult

Compatibility: Good w/ Most Dogs, Good w/ Most Cats, Good w/ Kids and Adults
Personality: Average Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Spayed, Vaccinations Current

I'm Really a Good Girl! Baby Girl was born about September 17, 2013 and weighs about 15 lbs. She arrived after hours, someone just stopped in, to give her to us. He was a bit tipsy or something, but she was well loved. Someone gave Bab Girl to his daughter and his daughter brought her to Dad's house and then she left - hear it all the time around here. Dad already had plenty of his own dogs and Baby Girl went into heat so was, probably, causing quite a ruckus. Not to worry, she is spayed now. She is great with other dogs, she is said to be house trained, but we always like to mention potty floor pads sometimes make life easier for ... (Read More)these little dogs. She is good on leash and will hang with you off leash while you do your outside chores. She enjoys car rides and chew toys, but she is not a water dog and doesn't care for the rain. She is very good with children. This sweet little thing was lucky to end up here. (Less)

Pomeranian    Age: Senior

Compatibility: Good w/ Most Dogs, Good w/ Most Cats, Good w/ Kids and Adults
Personality: Average Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Spayed, Needs Vaccinations

Lucy is an older female that we've had for the last 8+ years!!! She is very sweet and loving! She was one of 3 dogs we had (2 German Shephards who have passed) and she was and is always the watchdog. She loves to kiss your face for as long as you let her!!!! We also have 2 cats that she gets along great with. Due to divorce my children and I are forced to leave our home and can't find a place that will take pets. We are heartbroken!!! If you can give Lucy a safe and loving home please contact me.

Pomeranian    Age: Adult

Compatibility: Good with Kids and Adults
Personality: High Energy, Somewhat Dominant
Health: Needs to be Spayed, Needs Vaccinations

Maddie is an adorable, feisty, 7-year-old Pomeranian. Unfortunately, Maddie's high energy is a bit too high for her current family. Maddie LOVES children and adults, but shows some food aggression with her current dog-sibling. Maddie does need some training, as she likes to bark a whole lot. Maddie is a sweetheart and if not adopted, will be surrendered to a shelter. Please adopt Maddie!!

Rescue Me ID: 16-04-30-00146Nino (male)

Pomeranian Mix    Age: Young Adult

Compatibility: Not Good with Other Dogs, Good with Adults (Not Kids)
Personality: High Energy, Very Dominant
Health: Vaccinations Current, Fearful/Anxious

Nino has had a tumultuous upbringing originally owned by my motherwho was suffering mental illness and became homeless. He stood by her side for those 6 months always and became very protective of her. She lived with us and the dog for 6 months while trying to get her the help she needed. In the last 4 months he has lived with my aunt because my mother became hospitalized and I have a baby, which unfortunately Nino is not good around. She took him in and although originally unable to handle being around other animals he is able to reside with them (cat & dog). Unfortunately,it appears he is becoming very territorial around the other animals ... (Read More)and has started randomly marking his territory because of what appears to be his insecurities. This has become a frustration for my aunt in her small apartment. Nino is a dog that loves individual attention and very clean. He needs to know he is loved. He will be a great companion for someone that is active and enjoys going for walks and ideally has access to some outdoor space. He is smart and responds best to limitations, knowing he has a bed/ crate of his own. We just want to make sure he finds a good home because he deserves it. (Less)
