Rescue Me ID: 15-11-15-00436Lilly (female)

Pomeranian Mix    Age: Young Puppy

Compatibility: Good with Most Dogs
Personality: Average Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Spayed, Vaccinations Current

Lilly came to us from a hoarding case in south carolina- with the help of authorities and rescue groups, most of the dogs were able to be saved. We got 3 of those darlings, one was a chihuahua, one a yorkie/doxie and then ms lilly who appears to be a pomeranian/chi/doxie/collie/lab ? No telling what breed she is exactly but she is around 5 months old and is around 10 lbs. She had an injury to her face, along with missing fur all over, but that has all been taken care of and she is just a loving, healthy pup now. She has been spayed and is UTD on all shots- been dewormed and treated for worms. The other 2 have found their fur-ever homes and ... (Read More)now its Lilly's turn. Rescue Me ID: 15-11-08-00627Prancer (female)

Pomeranian Mix    Age: Senior

Compatibility: Good with Most Dogs
Personality: Average Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Spayed, Vaccinations Current

Prancer was found as a stray, she has some fur loss but it appears to be from an infestation of fleas--fleas are now gone and fur is slowing returning. She's had a dental cleaning, lost a number of teeth. She is estimated to be 8 to 10 years of age, a small gal at 6 lbs. She comes by her name rightly--she's a prancer. She loves to play at times, other times it's just good to lounge around or better yet take a nap. An application must be on file to schedule a visit. Animal ID: 15-09-26-00019Peanut (male)

Pomeranian Mix    Age: Young Adult

Compatibility: Good with Most Dogs, Good with Kids and Adults
Personality: Very High Energy, Somewhat Dominant
Health: Neutered, Needs Vaccinations, Abused/Neglected,
 Aggressive, Fearful/Anxious

I rescued Peanut from the local pound. He was found running along the side of the road.. No one came to claim him, even though he had a collar and clearly had an owner. When I met him, he was very calm and quiet. He got along great with my lab, and seemed like the perfect dog for me and my husband. My husband is partially blind, and I suffer from high anxiety levels. So I wanted a small therapy dog. However Peanut started showing signs of abuse and aggression towards my husband. He would bite him if told to move from the door to let visitors in, or if a toy was being put up. He is also VERY hyper and LOVES to bark and whine. I am not able to ... (Read More)deal with this, neither is my husband. I feel awful that I cannot keep him, he is a sweet dog once he calms down. But he is causing me panic attacks and has bitten myself and my husband out of fear from being startled. (we believe he was abused before he came to us). I have tried rehoming him already and he has been brought back because he stayed underneath the bed/couch all day and would not come out to eat for three days. So the owner brought him back. I do not know what to do anymore. It has gotten to the point where I have considered even taking him back to the shelter. But I could never do that to any animal. I need help getting this little guy a home!! (Less)
