Rescue Me ID: 18-05-26-00087Patrick cuddly lapdog (male)

Pomeranian Mix    Age: Young Adult

Personality: Average Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Neutered, Vaccinations Current

Accepting applications. Patrick will be arriving on 5/26. Here's what we know about him from his current foster family. We'll update his listing after he settles into foster care. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Patrick is 4 years old per the vet and weighs 7.8 lb. He is a delightful little man. I think he will fit into any home situation. At his foster home, all he wants is to snuggle up next to you and jump into your lap. He is doing much better on a leash. He gets along with all my dogs. Of course he is smaller then the cat! And he barked for the first time this ... (Read More)morning only to tell me that our maintenance man had arrived. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ We don't know how he is around children, so we'd have to do a meet-n-greet if you have kids to see how it goes. Due to his tiny size, we will only consider having him meet gentle children. If you have rambunctious children, we can try to find you a dog that's into that kind of activity level. From what we know so far, Patrick seems to be more of a lapdog type. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ We asked if there were any temperament issues that needed to be noted in his listing: ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ No temperament issues whatsoever. Total cutie pie. He came in very underweight and I have been feeding him canned food three times a day. He's had one accident in the house, but on tile floor, so I don't think he is marking. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Please check your distance to zip code 18330 before submitting the application. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ To adopt me, submit this application: http://form.jotform.us/form/41555257797165 (Less)

Rescue Me ID: 18-05-19-00083Palmer (male)

Pomeranian    Age: Adult

Health: Neutered, Vaccinations Current

Arf Arf! I'm Palmer and I am looking for my happily ever after! You see my previous family left me at a kill shelter and I started to deteriorate there so this nice rescue came and saved me! I was diagnosed with a collapsing trachea so now I take meds which keeps me from coughing. They say I'm a good boy and are so happy with my response to medications. I am working on house training, but a belly band helps avoid a mess on the rare occasion that I mark. I love the man of the house and love to hug legs! I do like to guard things, but distracting me with treats allows for the item to be removed. I need an understanding family that will ... (Read More)care for my medical needs and nurture my quirks. I get along great with other dogs, love people, and enjoy car rides. I am crate trained and leash trained, but would love a home where I can sleep in bed with my family. I know its a long shot, but won't you give me forever home? To adopt Palmer, please complete an adoption application at PomPaws.org. The $250 adoption fee ($150 for senior citizens 65+) covers core vaccines (Rabies, Parvo/Distemper, and Bordatella), my neuter and dental with extractions, blood work, heart worm test, fecal, medications, and all the love you can handle! Pomeranian Mix    Age: Senior

Health: Neutered, Vaccinations Current

I'm Roscoe and this nice Pomeranian rescue saved me from life in a shelter after I was found as a stray. I have adjusted well to life in my foster home and now that I am fixed and my nasty teeth are cleaned up, I am looking for my forever home! My foster pawrents say I am the best boy ever! I love to nap in dog beds, get rubs, enjoy a warm bath, and even love other dogs! I am crate trained and now that my manhood is gone I am working on getting house trained. I am doing well so far, but do wear a belly band in case of accidents. For an old man, I think I'm doing pretty good learning new things. I am a healthy 11 year old that weighs ... (Read More)in at 14 pounds with cute stubby legs and a fluffy curly tail. The vet feels I am some sort of terrier mix but we see some pom in me. No matter what breed I am, I am a big time lover and can't wait to find my forever home! To adopt Roscoe, please complete an adoption application at PomPaws.org. The $250 adoption fee ($150 for senior citizens 65+) covers my neuter, dental with extractions, fecal, heart worm test, blood work, core vaccines (Rabies, Distemper/Parvo, and Bordatella), and all the love you can handle! Rescue Me ID: 18-05-19-00073Mercy (female)

Pomeranian    Age: Puppy

Health: Spayed, Vaccinations Current

Mercy me! I'm as cute as can be! My name is Mercy and I am an 11 month old female pomeranian. My elderly owner got me after her senior pom passed away, but it soon became apparent that I was too much for her to handle. I am a sweet girl that adjusts quickly, loves toys, and I really love to run in a large fenced yard. I am a puppy so my new home needs to be puppy proofed and must have a securely fenced yard. I love other dogs and am learning how to be a lap dog. Will you be my forever family?!? To adopt Mercy, please submit an adoption application at PomPaws.org. Her $250 adoption fee includes her spay, core vaccines (Rabies, ... (Read More)Bordatella, and Parvo/Distemper), fecal, heartworm test, and all the love you can handle! (Less)

Rescue Me ID: 18-04-30-00070Stewie (male)

Pomeranian    Age: Senior

Health: Neutered

Hi I'm Stewie the Pom! I am trying to find my perfect forever family, would that be you? I am a sweet 11 pound, 10 year old boy that is fully vetted and ready to start my happily ever after! I came to PPR with two bladder stones blocking my urethra, and they got me the emergency surgery I needed. I will need monitored for bladder stones for the rest of my life, but that isn't too bad. I am a sweet boy who loves to talk to you and get belly rubs. I get along great with other dogs, but do need to be separated when its time to eat so I don't cause a fuss trying to steal everyone's food. I do sleep in bed or a crate, love to go for walks ... (Read More)on a leash, am a perfect gentleman in the car, and really just love to be silly and get my rubs. To adopt Stewie, please complete an adoption application at pompaws.org. Rescue Me ID: 18-03-15-00327Bruno Mars (male)

Pomeranian    Age: Adult

Health: Neutered

Arf Arf! I'm Bruno Mars! I came from a kill shelter after my owners surrendered me a few months ago. Unfortunately, this was the second time I was given up due to behavioral issues. I am a healthy 8 year old neutered boy and I do have a few extra pounds on me as I weigh in at 15 pounds. I love to be the boss and explore because I am a nosey pom. I really need a home that will be consistent in directing my behaviors and I do need to sleep in a crate at night. While I love my foster family and have been on my best behavior, I have bitten in the past and new people need to greet me properly with treats. I need a home with established ... (Read More)dogs as I can be overbearing with any new pets that come into my home. I am trained to go potty outside, but do like to use those pee pads at the door. I walk perfectly on a leash, love to sleep beside you in the car, and prefer the woman of the house (men need to spend time with Bruno and give lots of nice talk and treats for him to be friends). To adopt Bruno Mars, please submit an application at PomPaws.org. His $250 adoption fee ($150 for senior citizens 65+) includes core vaccines (rabies, distemper/parvo, and bordatella), heartworm/lyme test, fecal, bloodwork, neuter, dental, and all the love you can handle! Rescue Me ID: 17-02-19-00073Cam (male)

Pomeranian    Age: Senior

Health: Neutered, Vaccinations Current

Hi I'm Cam or as my foster mom calls me, Charlie! I'm an older gentle soul that is looking for a not so young family. I like watching tv, hanging out, and taking an occasional stroll around the yard. I'm not into leashes I prefer to just roam freely around a fenced yard so you must have a fence. I get along great with other dogs & even cats. I'm still nervous around people so I would prefer if your love, attention & patience with me was in a quieter home. You see I came from a puppy mill and was forced to breed for ten years of my life without human contact. This is why I am so scared. My hips are arthritic since they kept me in a ... (Read More)cage for so long and I never got to stretch out my legs or even run. Now I am taking each day in and trying my best to enjoy new things. I would love if a family without young children would help me life my life to the fullest since I missed out on so much. Cam is a 10yo cream sable pomeranian that weighs 8 pounds. To adopt Cam, please submit an application at PomPaws.org. His $250 adoption fee ($150 for senior citizens 65+) includes core vaccines (rabies, distemper/parvo, and bordatella), heartworm/lyme test, microchip, blood work, neuter, and dental cleaning. (Less)

Rescue Me ID: 17-01-09-00345Eli (male)

Pomeranian    Age: Adult

Compatibility: Good with Most Dogs, Good with Adults (Not Kids)
Personality: Average Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Neutered, Vaccinations Current

Eli is a handsome 8-9 year old, 11-pound Pomeranian. He was picked up as a stray by a local shelter and transferred to our care with a tail injury. It was determined that he got his tail caught in something while he was out running on his own and he did what any animal would do to get free'|he broke it. Fortunately for him, the break did not sever the blood supply and he was able to keep his tail. Unfortunately, his tail is paralyzed for life and will always hang straight down. We feel that he likely has bits of sensations as you will catch him chasing his tail from time to time. He has full control of his bladder and is 100% house ... (Read More)trained. He has 99% control over his bowels, but every once in a while'|maybe once a week'|we might find an uncontrolled nugget. As long as he is trimmed short around that area, he requires less maintenance than our Pom with full coats. Eli is a pretty cool little dog who is fairly independent. He loves to chase laser lights just like a cat. He will bark at things he doesn't understand'|like the vacuum or Christmas lights. He loves to sleep above your head on the pillow. He is great with other dogs'|he doesn't play but coexists beautifully. He will let you know when he is hungry or needs to go outside. He would do best with a single person or couple without small children in the home. His only quirk is that we don't think he was petted, groomed, or handled often. You will need time to develop trust with Eli before you can easily pet him below the shoulder blades. He would bite us at first, but it really didn't hurt. Now we can talk him through it and let him know everything is just fine. Because of this, we also would not place him into a home with senior citizens. We hope you can see through the baggage and straight into Eli's soul, because he really is a good, loyal companion. Eli's adoption fee is $250 and includes his microchip, current vaccinations (Rabies, Distemper/Parvo, and Bordatella), HW/Lyme test, and recent dental cleaning. He was neutered prior to coming into our care. To give Eli a forever home, please submit an application at PomPaws.org. (Less)
