Rescue Me ID: 17-09-20-00107Tiffany (female)

Pomeranian    Age: Young Adult

Health: Spayed, Vaccinations Current

Little Tiffany is a tiny, super sweet, 5 pound, 5 year old Pomeranian Mix. Tiffany is part of the 27 Tweethearts that came to us in July along with her two six week old puppies after we removed her and 26 other Poms from a local hoarding situation. Her puppies have grown and found their forever home, so now it is momma's turn. Tiffany is in great health and just had both her knees repaired on September 5th. This little beauty gets along great with other dogs, is leash trained, crate trained, and 90% house trained using pee pads and going outside. Due to the horrendous conditions Tiffany came from she is very shy, but comes around ... (Read More)quickly with sweet talk and cuddles. All the dogs from this case have a fear of men, but it can easily be overcome as long as the man of the house is her primary caregiver and gives her lots of treats. She will need some nurturing, but we have seen her blossom and know she will continue to bloom in a forever home. To adopt Tiffany, please submit an application at PomPaws.org. Her $250 adoption fee ($150 for senior citizens 65+) includes core vaccines (rabies, distemper/parvo, and bordatella), heartwom/lyme test, microchip, blood work, fecal test, spay, dental, bilateral patella repair, and all the love you can handle! Rescue Me ID: 17-04-10-00092Chulo (male)

Pomeranian    Age: Adult

Health: Neutered, Vaccinations Current

Chulo is searching for his forever home! This gorgeous boy is 7 pounds and 7 years old. He is the sweetest, funniest, and most loving pommy boy you will ever meet! Chulo came to us after his elderly owner could no longer care for him and the extended family noticed he may have some health issues. Poor Chulo is diabetic, but easily maintained on a small dose of insulin twice a day. Even though he is newly diagnosed, he is well regulated and accepting of his shots. We truly hope his diabetes does not scare potential adopters away because it is a manageable illness and he has a long life ahead of him. Chulo loves all humans, but does not ... (Read More)tend to get along with other dogs so we are seeking a home where he is the only canine. Chulo enjoys playing, getting belly rubs, and even likes to romp with the kitty cat in his foster home on occassion. Chulo does wear a belly band as he does mark on rare occassions. He is crate trained, leash trained, and even knows commands. This little guy adores older children as well so we can see him being a good fit for almost any home. We will teach you everything you need to know to care for Chulo so won't you find it in your heart to give this amazing little guy his happily ever after? To adopt Chulo, please submit an application at PomPaws.org. Rescue Me ID: 17-02-19-00073Cam (male)

Pomeranian    Age: Senior

Health: Neutered, Vaccinations Current

Hi I'm Cam or as my foster mom calls me, Charlie! I'm an older gentle soul that is looking for a not so young family. I like watching tv, hanging out, and taking an occasional stroll around the yard. I'm not into leashes I prefer to just roam freely around a fenced yard so you must have a fence. I get along great with other dogs & even cats. I'm still nervous around people so I would prefer if your love, attention & patience with me was in a quieter home. You see I came from a puppy mill and was forced to breed for ten years of my life without human contact. This is why I am so scared. My hips are arthritic since they kept me in a ... (Read More)cage for so long and I never got to stretch out my legs or even run. Now I am taking each day in and trying my best to enjoy new things. I would love if a family without young children would help me life my life to the fullest since I missed out on so much. Cam is a 10yo cream sable pomeranian that weighs 8 pounds. To adopt Cam, please submit an application at PomPaws.org. His $250 adoption fee ($150 for senior citizens 65+) includes core vaccines (rabies, distemper/parvo, and bordatella), heartworm/lyme test, microchip, blood work, neuter, and dental cleaning. (Less)

Rescue Me ID: 17-01-31-00359ChaChi (male)

Pomeranian    Age: Adult

Health: Neutered, Vaccinations Current

Arf! Arf! My name is ChaChi. I once was blind, but these nice people had my cataracts removed so now I can see again. I weigh 12 pounds and am about 7 years old so I have lots of love left to give. In fact, I am a total lover and snuggling is my favorite thing in the whole world! I do have diabetes, but please don't be scared as it is completely manageable and I am well regulated. I need insulin injections twice a day and I am a good boy for my shot. I love my food and even dance for treats. My house training is coming along, but I just had a bladder stone removed so my bladder does leak sometimes. This is an easy fix by letting me ... (Read More)sport around my fashionable belly band. I am looking for a home that will snuggle me all night long and give me lots of rubs. I can be a little vocal when other dogs try to invade my snuggle time. I sometimes give a little growl and that usually scares those other pesky poms away so I can have you all to myself. Don't you worry though, I will only growl and never go past that point. I do go in my crate willingly to eat or for a treat. I walk like a professional on a leash and even like riding in the car. I just want a family that will love me and give me the best life possible. Won't you be my forever family? To adopt ChaChi, please submit an application at PomPaws.org. His $250 adoption fee ($150 for senior citizens 65+) includes core vaccines (rabies, distemper/parvo, and bordatella) heartworm/lyme test, microchip, blood work, cystotomy, diabetic supplies, cataract removal, dental cleaning, and all the love you can handle. Rescue Me ID: 17-01-31-00338Frankie (male)

Pomeranian    Age: Adult

Health: Neutered

WWe are pleased to introduce our big beautiful boy, Frankie! This guy is the best dog you could ever ask for. Unfortunately, Frankie does suffer from diabetes so he needs insulin injections twice a day. He may only be 6, but he has the mildly elevated kidney levels. We have successfully treated Frankie's failing kidneys with supplements and his kidney values improve with each blood draw. He is now at a point where he is stable on the medications we are using and will need to be maintained with the medications to ensure his kidney levels do not go back up. Frankie is a laid back Pom that weighs 16 pounds. He is great with other pets in ... (Read More)the home, loves children, and loves to snuggle! This guy is the definition of a love bug. Don't let his diagnosis fool you either because he is full of life. He carries around his toys, runs and plays in the yard, and just wants attention. Don't let the diabetes deter you, giving two injections a day is easy as pie with this big sweetie. We will teach you everything you need to know to care for Frankie. Won't you give this darling boy his happily ever after? To adopt Frankie, please submit an application at PomPaws.org. His $250 adoption fee ($150 for senior citizens 65+) includes core vaccines (rabies, distemper/parvo, and bordatella), heartworm/lyme test, microchip, blood work, diabetic supplies, renal panels, subcutaneous fluid supplies, and all the love you can handle. Rescue Me ID: 14-06-09-00211Truffle (male)

Pomeranian    Age: Senior

Compatibility: Good w/ Most Dogs, Good w/ Most Cats, Good w/ Kids and Adults
Personality: Average Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Neutered, Vaccinations Current

Truffle is a 10-year-old male Pomeranian and weighs 12 pounds. He lived with his original owners his entire life and came to us after their divorce. He knows quite a few commands and loves to turn in circles for treats. Truffle is looking for a human companion to call his own! Truffle is completely housetrained as long as he is kept on a schedule or has access to a doggy door. He loves to go for walks, car rides, and outdoor activities, such as hiking, fishing, or just every day errands. We envision Truffle with a single man or woman who is looking for a loyal friend. He will follow you everywhere and wait by the door for you. Truff ... (Read More)does have a few quirks that are easily manageable: he can be toy aggressive with other dogs, but that seemed to diminish after the first week or two; he's not the biggest fan of brushing/grooming, so we simply take him to the groomer once a month; he will bolt out the door if given the chance, but a firm 'sit and stay' command does the trick. Truffle also has an issue with large objects like assistive walkers or vacuums moving in front of him and he will move to bite the object, but not the person. He looks for guidance and loves to please. We would love to see Truffle in a home without young children or elderly adults and with a fenced yard. Truffle is neutered, up-to-date on rabies, parvo/distemper, and bordatella vaccines, microchipped, has been dewormed, fecal and heartworm/lyme/erlichia/ and anaplasmosis tested, and has been started on monthly heartworm and flea/tick preventative. His adoption donation is $250. If you are interested in adopting Truffle, please visit our website at PomPaws.org for an application. (Less)
