Pomeranian    Age: Senior

Compatibility: Good with Most Dogs, Good with Most Cats
Personality: Average Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Spayed, Vaccinations Current

Emi is a sweet 10-12yr old puppy mill survivor. She's a sweet, snuggly girl who's looking for a quiet home. Because her health was neglected we had to pull almost all her teeth so she'll need a soft diet. We're looking for a quiet home for her either by herself or with another dog. She's up to date on everything, house trained, pee pad trained, etc. If you are interested in Emi email us at jenwdogrescue@gmail.com

Rescue Me ID: 15-02-13-00487Damon (male)

Pomeranian Mix    Age: Young Adult

Health: Neutered, Vaccinations Current

Name: Damon Breed: american eskimo/pomeranian Age: est 4 years Height: est 13 inches Weight: about 22 lbs Good with dogs? yes Good with men? loves 'em Good with women? loves 'em House trained? working on it Crate trained? yes Leash trained? working on it Must have fenced in yard? no Foster home is: Dreamweaver Farms Pacolet SC Adoption fee: $125 Date into rescue: 06/13/13 Why am I with a rescue group? HI! Boy have I got a story to tell. My name is Damon. I found myself alone in a trailer, nobody to help me, then all of a sudden, these 'poodle' people were feeding me, and cleaning me up. They gave me a soft bed to lay on and a ... (Read More)lot of attention. At first, I was so scared that I didn;t want them touching me, so I would react. But I realized that they cared and anted to cuddle and play. So I relaxed. Now I love having attention given to me Damons is considered 'special needs.' As bizarre as this may sound, he goes into frenzies where he attacks his own tail/back legs. This is usually done when he gets put into a crate, but if the mood ever strikes - he will do it anywhere. He has seen a vet, and no, they do not know why he does this either. This doesn't happen all the time, not even every day. Damon has bitten a few people, and this behavior may always stay with him. He is for the most part a very sweet, very affectionate dog. He will sit in your lap and cuddle with you. He will lay by your feet and watch tv. He will chase a tennis ball (for hours, and hours) if you'll play with him. How I act when I first meet new people: friendly Please note - we do not ship dogs. If you are interested in adopting, please take a look at the distance between the foster home location and your location and make sure you are willing to make that trip. To apply, please visit our webpage at www.carolinapoodlerescue.org and visit the tab on the left that directions you to the online application. Please note that when screening applications, we look at the entire home and then make suggestions based on what would be a good fit for your home. You are not being screened for a specific dog although we are looking to see what type of dog interests you - poodles or non poodles, color, age, etc. Others here may be a better fit for you. It is very difficult to get to know a living animal from a picture and a short description. Since we are constantly getting in new dogs, this may be a dog not in our listings yet. We want you to be very happy with your new companion and will make suggestions based on what you tell us about you. You can also read our adoption tips page for hints and helps on adopting a rescued dog. http://www.carolinapoodlerescue.org/AdoptionTips.shtml or for general information on Carolina Poodle Rescue, please visit our FAQs - http://www.carolinapoodlerescue.org/FAQGeneral.shtml If you are interested in providing a home for me, please complete our Adoption Application. Rescue Me ID: 15-02-10-00432  (male)

Pomeranian    Age: Adult

Compatibility: Good with Most Dogs, Good with Adults (Not Kids)
Personality: Average Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Neutered, Vaccinations Current

The dog on the left is a neutered male dog who is 6 years old. His name is Rex. The dog on the right is a spayed female dog who is 9 years old. Her name is Sassy. I'm a newly single mother of a 4 month old who was born prematurely and unfortunately cannot care for my dogs anymore. The only reason I said they are good with adults and not kids is because when they are around kids they try to stay away. Sassy does seem very intrigued by my baby and when he cries she will come to tell me. Rex only wants to play with all of my son's toys. When they have been around older children (toddlers) they seem a little scared of them. They would be very ... (Read More)good with older children like ages 9 and up who understood how to be gentle with them and not pull their fur. These dogs have been on the Banfield plan where up until last year they have gotten their teeth cleaned yearly. They are up to date on vaccinations and before I had the baby I got them groomed once a month. I listed them together because it breaks my heart to have to re home them and I know this this will be a big transition for them as I have been their only owner and I would love it if they at least had eachother. Please contact me if you have anymore questions. Sassy (on the right) is around 7 lbs and Rex is around 10 lbs. They just want to be loved and petted and exercised. I have kennels, beds, leashes, and other various items that I would give with them. (Less)

Rescue Me ID: 15-02-03-00661Clyde (male)

Pomeranian Mix    Age: Young Puppy

Compatibility: Good with Most Dogs, Good with Kids and Adults
Personality: Average Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Needs to be Neutered, Vaccinations Current

Clyde is a 6 week small breed puppy brought to animal control in a mop bucket with his two sisters. Our guess is a small breed terrier mix. He might be Wild Bill's sibling as they were all similar in size/appearance and found as strays. He is adorable and will probably be a small to medium size dog and has the cutest fluffy coat. Clyde is a lover and a cuddler and wants a home of his own! *We cannot guarantee breeds, or adult size of rescue dogs* Their histories are unknown prior to rescue. Please see 'notes' on facebook or forbellessake.org for adoption information and application. All meet and greets are by appointment only after adoption ... (Read More)application approval. (Less)
