MEET Murph Name: Murph Breed: american eskimo/pomeranian Age: est 4 years Height: est 13 inches Weight: about 22 lbs Good with dogs? yes Good with men? loves 'em Good with women? loves 'em House trained? working on it Crate trained? yes Leash trained? working on it Must have fenced in yard? no Foster home is: Maribeth, in NY Adoption fee: $125 Date into rescue: 06/13/13 Why am I with a rescue group? HI! Boy have I got a story to tell. My name is Murph. I found myself alone in a trailer, nobody to help me, then all of a sudden, these 'poodle' people were feeding me, and cleaning me up. They gave me a soft bed to lay on and a lot of attention. At first, I was so scared that I didn;t want them touching me, so I would react. But I realized that they cared and anted to cuddle and play. So I relaxed. Now I love having attention given to me Murph is considered 'special needs.' As bizarre as this may sound, he goes into frenzies where he attacks his own tail/back legs. This is usually done when he gets put into a crate, but if the mood ever strikes - he will do it anywhere. He has seen a vet, and no, they do not know why he does this either. This doesn't happen all the time, not even every day. Murph has bitten a few people, and this behavior may always stay with him. He is for the most part a very sweet, very affectionate dog. He will sit in your lap and cuddle with you. He will lay by your feet and watch tv. He will chase a tennis ball (for hours, and hours) if you'll play with him. How I act when I first meet new people: friendly Please note - we do not ship dogs. If you are interested in adopting, please take a look at the distance between the foster home location and your location and make sure you are willing to make that trip. To apply, please visit our webpage at www.carolinapoodlerescue.org and visit the tab on the left that directions you to the online application. Please note that when screening applications, we look at the entire home and then make suggestions based on what would be a good fit for your home. You are not being screened for a specific dog although we are looking to see what type of dog interests you - poodles or non poodles, color, age, etc. Others here may be a better fit for you. It is very difficult to get to know a living animal from a picture and a short description. Since we are constantly getting in new dogs, this may be a dog not in our listings yet. We want you to be very happy with your new companion and will make suggestions based on what you tell us about you. |Rescue Me ID: 15-02-16-00275Emi (female)|
Emi is a sweet 10-12yr old puppy mill survivor. She's a sweet, snuggly girl who's looking for a quiet home. Because her health was neglected we had to pull almost all her teeth so she'll need a soft diet. We're looking for a quiet home for her either by herself or with another dog. She's up to date on everything, house trained, pee pad trained, etc. If you are interested in Emi email us at firstname.lastname@example.org

Pomeranian Dogs can make good pets in South Carolina if they match your IifestyIe. The Pomeranian is a poufy, fox-like toy breed. Pomeranians are vivacious and intelligent. This breed may become skittish around very young, rambunctious kids. Pomeranians need consistent, thorough obedience training. Pomeranians do fine living in an apartment if they get enough exercise.
