Rescue Me ID: 16-08-19-00369Cary (male)

Pomeranian Mix    Age: Adult

Compatibility: Good with Adults (Not Kids)
Personality: Average Energy, Somewhat Dominant
Health: Neutered, Vaccinations Current, Aggressive

Cary is a sweet very trainable dog we adopted at 4 months old. Quickly we realized he was nervous and became aggressive with rawhides and stuffed toys (something we hadn't experienced with other dogs). We went thru obedience school with him and successfully trained him out of this behavior. He is still naturally nervous, though, and once our baby learned to walk he grew too nervous and became aggressive toward her (not nipping: he didn't attack her but would have if we hadn't known what to look for or how to handle him). We have kept them apart for two years with the help of a local kennel but cannot afford to continue, and our ... (Read More)three-year-old is simply too young and small to safely train with him. He loves routines and exercise and the dog friends at his kennel! He also loves do to tricks ( it calms him and helps him listen), and he loves his crate! Sweet and eager to learn! Works for food (in terms of training.) (Less)

Pomeranian Dogs can make good pets in Tennessee if they match your IifestyIe. The Pomeranian is a poufy, fox-like toy breed. Pomeranians are vivacious and intelligent. This breed may become skittish around very young, rambunctious kids. Pomeranians need consistent, thorough obedience training. Pomeranians do fine living in an apartment if they get enough exercise.

lnteresting Pomeranian Trivia Low-Cost Tennessee Spay & Neuter Clinics
Though it is surprising in light of its small size, the Pomeranian is closely related to the German Spitz. A Pomeranian puppy is about the size of a human thumb. Paris Hilton has three lap dogs that are all Pomeranians.
