|Rescue Me ID: 16-10-23-00084Micky (male)|
Micky is the cutest little blue merel Pomeranian you've ever seen. He is a small guy at 12 pounds and has a had a good grooming done since he came to us from a animal abuse case and was really matted. He is wonderful with other dogs and could care less about cats. He wears a male wrap in the house as he has not yet learned to potty outside, but he is wonderful and loving in all other respects. He is neutered, current on all vaccinations, tested Heartworm negative and is microchipped.

|Rescue Me ID: 16-10-21-00251Sophie (female)|
Sophie is a wonderful, sweet loving girl. She turned 12 in September 2016. We are looking to place her only due to health issues and relocation. She is pee pad trained, loves to go out and lay in the sun, very very quite and laid back. Will not place in home with young children due to her size and age. She has a bad patella on her left leg but gets around without issue. Will be very particular about a home for her.

|Animal ID: JakeJake (male)|
This fluffy guy is Little Jake. He certainly puts the 'little' in Little Jake, only weighing in at about 20 pounds. We are sad to say that this little love muffin has been kept on a chain for 6 years. However, you wouldn't know it with his loving personality and he is a smart boy so picking up house manners is not a problem and will be house trained by his foster home. Jake adores people, and he is super sweet to everyone he meets. Additionally, he does great with other dogs and cats. He loves to run with the other dogs all morning when they are cleaning at the shelter. Jake is heartworm positive, but RARE will cover the treatment with our veterinarian at no extra cost to the adopter. Heartworms are treatable and dogs can live healthy, fulfilling, and amazing lives after treatment. Please don't let this stop you from giving an animal a good home that it deserves and needs so desperately. We will be happy to answer any questions that you may have. |Rescue Me ID: 16-08-19-00369Cary (male)|
Cary is a sweet very trainable dog we adopted at 4 months old. Quickly we realized he was nervous and became aggressive with rawhides and stuffed toys (something we hadn't experienced with other dogs). We went thru obedience school with him and successfully trained him out of this behavior. He is still naturally nervous, though, and once our baby learned to walk he grew too nervous and became aggressive toward her (not nipping: he didn't attack her but would have if we hadn't known what to look for or how to handle him). We have kept them apart for two years with the help of a local kennel but cannot afford to continue, and our three-year-old is simply too young and small to safely train with him. He loves routines and exercise and the dog friends at his kennel! He also loves do to tricks ( it calms him and helps him listen), and he loves his crate! Sweet and eager to learn! Works for food (in terms of training.) (Less)

Pomeranian Dogs can make good pets in Tennessee if they match your IifestyIe. The Pomeranian is a poufy, fox-like toy breed. Pomeranians are vivacious and intelligent. This breed may become skittish around very young, rambunctious kids. Pomeranians need consistent, thorough obedience training. Pomeranians do fine living in an apartment if they get enough exercise.
