Francis came to our house last weekend - it's only been 6 days, for crying out loud! and she's already in love with my husband. She follows him around, even goes to the bathroom with him. When he leaves for work, she gets on the back of the couch and begins her long wait for him to come home. Although I feed her, bathe her and walk her, she ignores me the second he comes through the door. Francis is not really a man's dog; she weighs 8.8 lbs and she's a Pomeranian Lhasa mix. Josie was rescued from Louisiana on 8 May 2013. She was left outside to eat from the ground and had no protection from the outdoor elements like hawks. She was taken from the home and placed in a safe house till I came to pick her up. She is Pom/Dachshund mix and weighs about 8 pounds. She has been given a 7 in 1 shot. She is pad trained if need be but she will let you know when she needs to go out. She is crate trained. Gets along with my dogs to an extent..I was told that is a Pom attitude. She is blind and looks like her eyes were gouged out or may be a birth defect but she does not let that stop her. Jack is a sweet, loving, and kind little angel. My wife and I got Jack about 7 years ago as a puppy and have loved him and his presence ever since. About 3 years ago, Jack got an ear infection and we treated it asap and got him back to normal. About every 6 months the ear infection would come back and we continued to treat it each time. Finally, it got so out of hand, the Vet recommended a complete ear canal ablation removing the entire ear canal due to chronic ear infections. Pomeranian Dogs can make good pets in Texas if they match your IifestyIe. The Pomeranian is a poufy, fox-like toy breed. Pomeranians are vivacious and intelligent. This breed may become skittish around very young, rambunctious kids. Pomeranians need consistent, thorough obedience training. Pomeranians do fine living in an apartment if they get enough exercise.
