    Peppa is a 2.5 year old pomeranian mix who came to us from our local pound. Peppa is a sweet little girl who is looking for a forever home. $175.00 adoption donation helps us take care of all the dogs we rescue. All dogs are spayed/neutered, tested for heartworm and tick borne diseases, microchipped and vaccinated for rabies, distemper/parvo and bordetella. They are also treated for internal and external parasites if needed. Many dogs also receive extensive medical care such as surgeries and dentals.     Muffin is a small, 4-5 year old mixed breed dog who transferred to us from a local shelter. He is in a foster home with cats and dogs and is great with all of them.     This handsome boy, Butters, was surrendered with his brother D.o.G. at a rural VA pound. Both boys tested Lyme and Heartworm positive. They have started treatment for Lyme and pre HW treatment medication. HW treatment is scheduled for 3/11 and 3/12. D.O.G. is missing most of his incisors and has fractured K9 teeth due to a life-time on a chain. Butter is a total sweety but definitely the boss of his brother D.O.G.. Butters does well with other dogs, no aggression. Learning house training, recently neutered. Walks well on a leash, can be crated, loves car rides. Very gentle.     Shooter came as an owner surrender he is about 7 years old. We don't know much about his background just that the previous owner got him from the pound when he was 2 and he was skidish when she got him. He was not getting along with her other dog who is 14 and he was also being territorial towards her grandkids. He should not be around kids as he may bite. He doesn't like to be picked up. If you would like to adopt this little guy please call or e-mail. He is housebroken and good with other dogs and cats. He currently stays with other dogs that are younger and gets along with them fine.

This breed may become skittish around very young, rambunctious kids. Pomeranians need consistent, thorough obedience training. Pomeranians do fine living in an apartment if they get enough exercise.
